Smart parking arrives to Toronto, Canada
The challenge involved testing various technologies in extremely cold conditions with the aim of enhancing urban parking management.
The goal was to address traffic congestion and the lack of available spaces. Additionally, ensuring that the technologies used were robust and operated effectively under very low temperatures was essential. Despite the adverse weather conditions in Toronto, the project was successfully completed, demonstrating the resilience of Urbiotica technology.
The project in Toronto, implemented with our Canadian partner Electromega, focused on deploying intelligent U-Spot sensors to enhance urban parking management.
Through the installation of these devices, real-time information is collected on parking space availability, enabling drivers to access updated data and reduce time spent searching for parking. This initiative aims to improve parking efficiency, reduce traffic congestion, and contribute to a smoother and more sustainable driving experience in the city.
