Parking guidance for the Martorell hospital to reduce parking search time
Reduce the time it takes hospital users to find a parking space in order to speed up parking.
The Martorell hospital provides coverage to the regions of Baix Llobregat, Alt Penedès, Anoia and Vallés Occidental, covering some 150,000 inhabitants.
It needed a solution to manage its public parking lot with a total of 203 parking spaces in order to speed up the parking process for vehicles and improve mobility and citizen satisfaction.
The project includes the installation of 2 counting sensors to monitor all parking spaces.
U-Flow tallying sensors were installed at the entrances and exits of the parking lot to provide real-time information to users and managers via the dynamic message signs and system management tools.
The installed system notifies users of the availability of free parking spots in real time via the signs installed at the entrances, guiding users directly to them and lowering the amount of time they need to find a parking spot.
- Increased parking lot turnover and occupancy
- Reduction of traffic caused by the search for vacancies
- Citizen well-being and satisfaction
- Better environmental quality
