This project, awarded to Gelabert and developed by Urbiotica in cooperation with the local authorities, aims to improve the efficiency of parking management in high demand areas, using state-of-the-art technology.
The installed system includes intelligent sensors that monitor in real time the occupancy and dwell time of vehicles in the designated spaces. To use these spaces, drivers must register through the Parktime mobile application, a tool that facilitates parking time management and ensures compliance with local regulations.
The Parktime app not only records the user’s location and vehicle, but also sends notifications when the time limit allowed for parking is approaching. This helps prevent penalties and improves vehicle turnover, thus optimizing the availability of parking spaces.
On the other hand, thanks to real-time access to the data provided by the sensors, police officers are alerted if a vehicle has exceeded the allowed parking time, achieving efficient parking control and management and ensuring the correct use of parking spaces.
