Alonsotegi and its control over free time-limited parking areas

Alonsotegi has taken a key step towards a more orderly mobility with the implementation of a control system for free time-limited parking zones.

The most important element of this project has been to effectively promote the use of the user declaration when parking in a parking space, a key tool to ensure that the use of these free parking areas is carried out in an orderly and respectful manner and in accordance with the regulations.

The solution: Urbiotica, with the collaboration of the integrator Euskotelecom, has implemented a time control system with user declaration, based on M2M sensors installed in time-limited parking spaces. This model allows each person who parks to declare their use through the app, and thanks to this, those responsible for local mobility receive real-time alerts, allowing them to act immediately when a vehicle exceeds the maximum time allowed according to the regulations.

This system, based on M2M IoT sensors, collects data in real time and centralizes information to facilitate the monitoring of the use of parking spaces and compliance with regulations. The goal is to make respecting the rules something natural and accessible to all, applying technology as a tool at the service of a more orderly and people-centered mobility.
