Amazon installs an Urbiotica smart guidance system at its Madrid Fulfillment Center to facilitate access for its employees.
The success of this project was demonstrated by reducing the time Amazon employees spent searching for vacant spaces and improving internal mobility within its logistics center.
The Amazon Fulfillment Center in Madrid, one of its main logistics centers in Spain, needed to optimize parking access for its employees, especially during rush hour when there are more vehicles in circulation. They found that searching for an available parking space was a significant waste of time for the complex’s employees, generating unnecessary congestion that could compromise both their punctuality and their morale at the start of their workday.
With the goal of improving its employees’ experience and daily operations, Amazon decided to invest in an advanced technological solution from Urbiotica that would provide real-time visibility into parking space availability.

- Streamlining employee parking searches.
- Reduction of internal traffic and congestion during rush hour.
- Improving the daily experience of workers.
- Improved operational efficiency thanks to more organized parking management.
- Strengthening Amazon’s image and commitment to technological innovation.
