Pavapark expands parking system in Requena with Urbiotica and incorporates free limited time control

Pavapark has once again relied on Urbiotica’s technology to expand the current parking system in the city of Requena. This new phase of the project includes the installation of 41 new sensors, bringing the total to 121, extending coverage to key areas of the city.

The objective of this expansion is to optimize parking management and offer a more efficient and comfortable experience to drivers. The new sensors make it possible to collect real-time data on parking space occupancy, information that is displayed on information panels located throughout the city. These panels make it easier for users to find available spaces, thus improving parking space utilization.

Highlights of the expansion:

The expansion of the parking system in Requena brings with it several significant improvements. The installation of 41 new sensors increases the system’s coverage, providing more extensive monitoring of the areas of greatest demand. The data generated by these sensors is integrated into the information panels, providing drivers with up-to-date information on the availability of parking spaces, reducing the time spent searching for parking.

In addition, to ensure greater vehicle turnover in the busiest areas, a Free Limited Time control system has been implemented. This system penalizes users who exceed the time allowed, thus promoting a more efficient use of available spaces and contributing to a greater fluidity in vehicular traffic.

Benefits for the community:

This expansion responds to the needs of a city in constant growth, focusing on improving the parking experience for both residents and visitors. The main benefits include:

  • Reduced congestion: Accurate monitoring of parking space allows for more effective management of vehicle flow, reducing congestion in the busiest areas of the city.
  • Increased user satisfaction: The availability of real-time information facilitates the search for parking, improving the drivers’ experience and reducing frustration caused by the lack of free spaces.
  • Efficiency in space management: The expansion of the system allows for a more efficient use of available spaces, optimizing the flow of vehicles and contributing to a more orderly urban environment.

The expansion of the parking system not only reinforces the commitment to more efficient parking management, but also represents an important step towards the creation of smarter and more sustainable cities.
