This deployment is in addition to others already implemented in five Dutch cities that have managed to move towards more sustainable mobility models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Digitization of the urban parking lot in Wijchen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dutch city of Wijchen is joining this trend by implementing a <strong>smart parking system<\/strong> developed by Urbiotica, in collaboration with Spotten. This project is an important step towards optimizing urban mobility, facilitating traffic management and improving the drivers&#8217; experience.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative includes the installation of <strong>670 IoT U-Spot sensors<\/strong>, capable of detecting in real time the occupancy of each parking space. This data is integrated into the system to guide drivers directly to free spaces, thereby reducing congestion in high-demand areas.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this expansion in Wijchen, Urbiotica reaches <strong>a total of 1,626 managed sensors<\/strong> <strong>in the Netherlands<\/strong>, further consolidating its presence in the country. The municipality has been able to reduce unnecessary traffic and provide a smooth experience for residents and visitors alike.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Den Bosch, Enschede, Hazeldonk and Utrecht<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In all these cities, the work has focused on the integration of sensors previously installed within Urbiotica&#8217;s intelligent parking platform through its API.
