Last summer, the urban parking guidance<\/a> solution became effective with the installation of 20 U-Spot<\/a> sensors in the Community of Sunda Kommuna (Faroe Islands) by ATKI,<\/a> our local technology distributor and reference in the parking sector. <\/p>\n\n

The aim of this new project was to avoid gridlock on the narrow road leading to the town of Tjornuv\u00edk. This is achieved thanks to the installed guidance system, which includes an information panel located 4km from the center that informs drivers about the availability of parking spaces. In this way, drivers know first-hand whether or not there is a parking option and avoid driving in the event of unavailability. This avoids the chaos that used to be caused by vehicles coming in search of luck and returning when there was none available on this one-lane, two-way road. <\/p>\n\n

The installation is now operational and has been a major breakthrough for this community, because now thanks to the system, vehicles have the information they need and greatly improves their satisfaction and mobility experience. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
